DIVYA SARDANA   

I am a climate scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT Roorkee, with a background in Mathematics and a passion for using science and data to understand climate change and its impacts on India. My research focuses on Arctic climate dynamics, sea-ice variability and its connection with the Indian monsoon. My journey has been one of perseverance, continuous learning and balancing professional and personal responsibilities. Through my research, teaching and mentoring, I aspire to contribute to meaningful climate solutions while encouraging more young women to pursue careers in STEM and believe that they too can lead, innovate and create change.
