My 16-year journey in technology has been about evolving from delivering technology solutions to leading innovation, building high-performing teams and creating measurable business value through technology. Today, I serve as an Acting CTO, where I work across technology strategy, digital innovation, AI, product engineering and business transformation. One of the most defining chapters of my career has been transforming Digital Innovation from an internal support function into a strategic, revenue-generating business unit. I built and led a multidisciplinary team across software engineering, UI/UX, quality, cloud and AI, while introducing a product-oriented and reusable approach to technology delivery. Within the first year, the Digital Innovation business generated ₹1 crore in revenue. We also reduced project onboarding time by 50% through reusable frameworks and standardised processes. My approach to technology leadership has always been centred on solving real business problems rather than adopting technology simply because it is new. I have led initiatives across AI, intelligent automation, digital products, engineering solutions and legacy modernisation. Some of the solutions developed under my leadership include an enterprise project management platform, QR-code automation, AI-enabled engineering solutions and custom software solutions for global clients. My current focus is on exploring Generative AI, intelligent automation, AI-assisted engineering and other emerging technologies that can create sustainable business value. Innovation has been part of my journey from early in my career. I authored a technical paper, “Delineation of Raw Plethysmograph using Wavelets for Mobile based Pulse Oximeters,” presented at the 5th Innovative Conference on Embedded Systems, Mobile Communication and Computing. That early experience of applying technology to a practical problem continues to influence how I approach innovation today. I also believe that technology leadership extends beyond an organisation. I actively share my experiences through podcasts, articles, industry conversations and speaking engagements. My podcast conversations have included topics such as digital transformation, boardroom leadership and custom software. In August 2026, I was invited as a panelist at The Visionary Women Summit & Awards, where I spoke about building businesses, inspiring leadership and the journey of women in leadership. My commitment to women in technology is also reflected in my role as a WICCI Council Member, where I contribute to a platform focused on women’s professional growth, networking, knowledge sharing and empowerment. I see the role of a CTO as more than owning technology. It is about connecting technology with business strategy, building the right culture, developing people and preparing an organisation for what comes next. As I continue my journey, I want to use technology and AI not only to create business impact, but also to create more opportunities for women to participate, lead and shape the future of technology.
