My journey has been anything but linear. I studied political science and public relations, explored different roles, worked across industries and eventually found myself drawn to the one thing I kept coming back to: creating. I started sharing my thoughts on LinkedIn, mostly observations, ideas and things I found interesting. Over time, that little corner of the internet became a community. I began experimenting with creative campaigns, storytelling and content formats, including spec campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands. I also started The Comms Cocktail, an independent newsletter built around my love for communication, creativity and a little humour. Watching it grow into a community of its own has been one of the most fulfilling parts of this journey. I’ve had my share of uncertainty, rejections, experiments that didn’t work and moments when I questioned what I was doing. But I’ve kept showing up, learning and building, often figuring things out as I go. Today, I work independently as a creator and communications professional. I’m still learning, still experimenting and still finding new ways to turn ideas into something meaningful. What began as simply putting my thoughts out there has grown into work, a community and a voice I can call my own.
