My journey is a story of continuous learning, perseverance and growth. I started my career with BALCO in 2005 as a B.Com Trainee. At that time, my focus was simple: learn, contribute and make the most of every opportunity. Over the years, I kept challenging myself, taking on new responsibilities and building capabilities across finance, governance and enabling functions. Today, I serve as Business Controller – Enabling, and when I look back, the journey from trainee to business controller is one of my proudest achievements. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to financial discipline, transparency, strong governance and responsible decision-making. My experience has grown across budgeting and forecasting, cost governance, management reporting, internal controls, compliance, insurance and claims, retirement benefits and PF Trust matters, audits and financial evaluation of business proposals. My journey has also taught me that leadership is not defined only by designation. For me, leadership means taking ownership, maintaining integrity, continuously learning and enabling others and the organization to succeed. My contributions have been recognized through two Employee of the Month Awards and two CEO Kitty Awards. I also secured 2nd position in a National-Level Company Law Quiz organized by ICSI, an achievement that strengthened my belief in continuous professional learning. My selection for the V-REACH development journey further became an important milestone in my leadership growth. As finance continues to evolve, I am passionate about AI, automation and data-driven decision-making. I believe technology can make finance more agile, insightful and value-focused while strong human judgment and governance remain at its core. From a B.Com Trainee to Business Controller, every stage of my journey has strengthened one belief: growth does not happen in a single moment. It is built through consistency, courage, learning and the willingness to take on new challenges. I aspire to continue growing as a responsible corporate leader, creating sustainable value for my organization and inspiring others to believe that where we start does not define how far we can go.
